Kuta (BisnisBali) -Some Australians consider
Bali as their second house. Almost all of them are completely
ignorant with several tragedies of humanity in Bali, like
the Bali bomb blasts.
They truly love Bali. So much in love with Bali, an Australian
citizen wished when he died, he would like to be cremated
in the resort Island.
On Friday (27/4) at 10.30 in front of the post of Kuta beach
security officers, dozens of people gathered together to
attend the cremation ceremony of this Australian
. Solemn melody produced by Angklung instrument accompanied
the ngaben ceremony at Kuta Beach.
A foreign woman wearing orange traditional kebaya costume
with brown eyeglasses was so in grief when she released
a garland to sea.
Dozens of people, chiefly the late’s family members
and his friend in Bali attended the ceremony.
"My husband wish to be cremated in Bali," Dianne
said, Noel Prosser’s wife. The couple has been living
in Bali for 20 years. According to Dianne, his husband is
dying one year ago.
Before he died, he wanted to be cremated within Balinese
tradition. Pursuant to the message, she tried her best to
meet her late husband’s desire
Unfortunately the ritual could not be conducted due to some
obstacles. However, she said she was happy even though she
only could conduct the wish symbolically.
” This represents the evidences of my unconditional
love and my husband to Bali," she said.
She and her late husband once expressed that Bali was, is,
and will be their second home forever
. For few days Dianne will be leaving to Australian with
her family and friends. " In four months, I will return
to Bali. I will come to Bali as often as I could,"
she said further.*wid/pwt
