Nearly January 2007 until now the demand of products are never quiet by costumers, because the products become a trend in foreign markets,” a craftsman, I Wayan Wirawan said that recently. He said, almost all of his colleagues are from foreign countries such as Netherlands, Australia, French, Italy, and US with the order is around 500 pieces. He added, this product is offered with variety of prices. Normally the products are offered with the price Rp 250.000 up to Rp 1,000,000 per pieces depend on materials.
He explained, the price of silver increase in the market reach Rp 4,075/gr, although the material price is expensive there is not a problem to develop his business, because the demands of the products also increase.
The quality and designs of silver crafts made in Bali are better than other products from foreign countries, because this is created by manual machine without modern machine. Meanwhile, Thailand’s artisans have created the handicrafts products with modern machine.
