(BisnisBali) -Up to these days, Balinese exporters
were exported the product to foreign markets. Normally they
face some problems such the instable of the export value.
In January to December 2006 the handicrafts export are stable,
but this different than wooden crafts export. This export
realization experiences decrease, although the demand of the
products increases, an exporter, Ir. Wayan Gde Arsania stated
recently.
He said, in 2006 the exports of wooden craft decrease. This
can be seen from the export activities of wooden crafts to
several countries. However, if there is seen from the amount
of decreasing products are not too big. This is normal condition
to the export markets.
“Based on the data of several exporters and companies
in 2006 the orders of the products were stable than before.
Exporters have received orders in end of 2006 (Augustus to
December 2006), but they can fulfill the demand and export
products in 2007. Moreover, exporters cannot export the products
until now, because the process production of handicrafts are
need much time,” he explained, while added, the export
realization of several wooden crafts in the last 2006 was
decrease below10 percent.
On the others place, the head of Foreign Trade division of
Trade and Industrial office (Disperindang) Bali, Ni Wayan
Kusumawathi said, total export value of several handicraft
products was increase only 3.64 percent combined with 2005.
Total export value in 2005 reached US$ 227,604,660.14 into
US$ 235,882,292.99 in 2006.
“Based on data of handicrafts export value, the export
value of wooden crafts was slight decrease reach 8.59 percent.
While, the export value of furniture products was increase
7.09 percent. Both of the products have high value than the
other handicrafts products. In 2005 the export value of wooden
crafts was reach US$ 85,559,739.95 that decrease in 2006 become
US$ 78,210,572.56. And the export value of furniture products
in 2005 only US$ 47,421,459.29 and in 2006 the value increase
US$ 50,785,078.76,” he explained, while added, the decreasing
of wooden craft exports is caused by the economic global and
